Talk It Over
Jesus Heals a Sick Woman
Hey parents! Use these questions as a guide to talk over this week’s Bible story called Jesus Heals a Sick Woman with your child after they’ve watched this week’s Church at Home early childhood video. Remember the Big Idea: I can have faith that Jesus will help me.
- What was your favorite part of the video we just watched?
- What was wrong with the woman in the crowd? She had been very sick for a long time, and she needed help.
- Who did she go to for help? First, she went to many doctors, and they couldn’t help her. Then she heard about Jesus and went to him.
- What happened when she touched Jesus’ robe? She was healed of her sickness right away! She had faith in Jesus, and she was healed.
- What are some ways Jesus helps us when we have faith in him? He shows us people around us who love us. He helps us be brave. He reminds us that he is always with us.
- Spend a few minutes praying with your child. You might pray something like this: God, thank you that we can put our faith in you. Help us to always trust you and remember that you are with us, and you want to help us. Amen. .
Hey parents! We have something just for you to enjoy this week’s Bible story for yourself. Read over this devotion sometime this week as a way for you to reflect on the Bible story your child saw from Church at Home. We love you!
DownloadThis lesson, the kids are learning that they can go to Jesus with anything they face. They can be like the woman who went to Jesus for help in the Bible story. They can have faith that Jesus will help them! With their prayer clay, they will remember to have faith and pray to Jesus.
DownloadThis activity is a fun way for kids to remember the teaching video. This activity reminds then that they can have faith as they place Winston on the carousel, even though they can’t see.
DownloadEach week we have a new coloring page and activity sheet for your child to remember the Bible story for the week and learn more about our Big Idea.
